Daniel Johnston is back with a new band called The Hyperjinx Tricycle. The man is a genius there's no doubt of that. Well perhaps there's a small seed of doubt as he's not to everyone's taste. His new band is more of the same really albeit more musically adept and it sounds less like kids destroying kitchens. Just the mad voice which upsets folks but he writes great tunes bless him and I like him here. It's really upsetting Brian here so I'm gonna have to get rid for the mo.....The Hyperjinx Tricycle is a trio consisting of Daniel Johnston, NYC painter Ron English and the ever elusive and mysterious Jack Medicine. the initial pressing of this disc sold out fast. available now.
