ate is/ are some Japanese dude/ dudes who make experimental music. Pate stands for Pop Art Tradition Experiment which might explain a little more? They make experimental music which is rather hard to describe so I don't think I'll bother. This single I did like though. The A side is all floaty and twinkly (this weeks word of the week) and if nothing else it's a an ample tune which makes for great background music. The flipside is equally as splendid but just a little bit more lively with backwards sounding instruments and other such nonsense.
