One of the my faves of the week is the Sirconical single on Twisted Nerve which is banging. 30 mins long and mostly brilliant. Some jazzy things on there, some electronic things, some beaty. A big fan me..... But I Won't Do That is on CD and 12".

About the humble CD single:

Another digital format and even though they can hold 80 minutes of information (like a CD album would) record companies only fill up a small portion of the disc. Sometimes only 1 or 2 tracks on there totalling 5 minutes or so. It's like going to a restaurant and getting a plate of food with 2 green beans on and wondering where the rest of your meal is. Sometimes they're lovingly packaged though and when the music is good then you're into a winner. Also you get videos on there sometimes which you can watch on your computer. That is excellent.
