'Can You Hear Me Mutha?' the result of this coming together of musical miscreants is a veritable festival of frequencies. A selection of tracks recorded over a period of 4-years each one captures the changing state of their oddball nation - no two tracks sound remotely alike - a pair in constant flux. Always on the move, like a shark in search of prey, the album finds a comfy spot then moves on again. Laugh, cry, dance, check your ears for bits of metal ... But whatever you do don't keep looking at the cover. Children, American singer-songwriters, and those of a nervous disposition have been warned!!

Founder-member of pioneering electronic act Cabaret Voltaire, Mallinder has worked with numerous artists and producers including Afrika Bambaataa, John Robie, Adrian Sherwood and Marshall Jefferson. A commentator on electronic music, he's worked in broadcasting/ journalism - most recently2012 Sheffield International Documentary Festival. Based in Brighton, Stephen re-issued the Ku-Ling Bros recordings (dTone Music) which debuted at No 1 on eMusic USA, and forms Wrangler with two members of Tunng.
