Jeeeesus, I thought these were permanently gonna be on the W-A-T-N? dumper, the geezer singing on the opening tune doesn't even sound much like the man my friend Charlotte once proclaimed "the sexiest man on the planet" after watching him simulate sex with a theremin for 10 minutes at a festival. I think she wanted to be the theremin and was a mite jealous.

As you can hear from the sound-clips, this bunch have lost none of their deranged feral impact, boiling down the blues, the rock, the garage and the funk into something approaching massively enjoyable and a tiny bit stupid. Whatever, they still rock way hard and have the wild grooves, the snakeskin sleaze and the smokin' hot riffs in spades. This new album makes me want to shag a theremin like they're going out of fashion, it's either a return to form after 'Plastic Fang' and 'Damage' or I've missed them so much that I would have frantically devoured a full album of Christmas ballads done on a bontempi....fuckin' rad...
