York is the new New York, you know. Or so you would think if you believed the hyperbole of platform-toting cultural commentator, self-publicist and occasional musician John Robb, who has not only released this 7” but also plastered a quote from himself on the front, before you even find out what the songs are called or who’s in the band.
Anyway, when we get to the record itself we’ve got the duo of Jonathan Meager and Lee Bowden knocking out a couple of scrappy slightly no-wavey pop songs which fall somewhere between No Age and Sauna Youth, with a big fuzzy sound that belies the two-piece formula but also a fair smattering of that distinctive UK DIY yelp and stumble that you have previously enjoyed from bands like This Ain’t Vegas and What Price Wonderland. Really good then.
We calculate your shipping costs by taking the heaviest item in your order and calculating that at the 'Heaviest Item' price. Each additional item in your order is then charged at the 'Additional Item' price.
So, because you currently don't have anything in your cart the shipping cost for Spanish Glass by Fawn Spots will be the 'Heaviest Item' price for the format you choose:
