A that’s exactly what we’re dealing with on ‘Milky Way’ - old school Virgo style party house with entry level deep vibes emanating from every groove and just a hint of Acid to keep the kids on there toes. Deffo on an old skool Trax tip here. ‘Loose Jaw’ is equally as floor friendly and smooths tings out with pads, light piano touches and some ultra tricky percussive interplay. Lovin’ the echo station action. Total blast off!

Flip it and ‘Polo Sport’ starts all Carpenter-esque with a trickle of hats and shakers before the beat evolves into what is becoming a familiar Virgo ripping percussive groove trademark. He really gets those cymbals and toms involved here! Total coming up biz! It’s a pretty much stripped back, ultra muscular melody topped off with a totally-going-to-town beat crafting free-for-all. ‘Roland Beat’ finishes the EP with more class beats and early 90’s style melody sequencing. Real bouncy stuff.

Oh by the way, Roland Ting is oz producer Rohan Newman and he proves, like Holy Balm, Forces and Canyons, that there’s some blissful dancefloor bizzle a brewin’ in Neighbours land.
