Seattle synth enthusiast Norm Chambers, a.k.a Panabrite, returns with a new LP...well, not completely new. ‘Illumination’ was originally released on cassette by Sicsic tapes back in 2011 but sees its way on to vinyl thanks to the good lads at Under The Spire.
Much like his previous album ‘Sub-Aquatic Meditations’, ‘Illumination’ is an incredibly peaceful LP bringing together cosmic synth work, imaginary movie soundtracks, occasional drones and elements of Radiophonic Workshop electronics creating a sort of new age music that somehow escapes the trappings of the genre.
A thoroughly impressive outing and a name to look out for in the field of purest synth music.
