Ah...a dream-pop seven inch from one-time Tarentel legendo. The first side is gorgeous, comprised of a spindly echo-laden drum track, ethereal washes of the fluffiest shoegazery entwined with more rugged swathes of psychedelic guitar exploration with a few wisps of feedbacking distortion and ultimately an almost balmy tropical air.
So....basically if you like old Yellow6 records and classic Slowdive, right, and their silky doe-eyed like, this will well shit your leg right off. The flip is a smart sounding murky piece of shifting grainy ambient drone that sounds a tiny bit like The Caretaker but with a more dubby nature - all Balearic skank and seductive mood. Both thoroughly lovely tracks, this is a great 7”.
