Peculiar little tape, this one. It's got some rumbly electronic drones on it and comes with a nice fold-out screenprinted mini-poster with an essay on it entitled 'In history as in nature, decay is the laboratory of life'. I'm struggling to write about drones today for some reason but these ones are low and rumbling, slowly and ruthlessly throbbing away with nothing in the way of melody, morphing from flat tones to crumbled rumblings.
It's pretty good, if droney rumbly dark ambience is your thing, but if you're after something with melody and variety you're looking at the wrong tape. Detailed and just eventful enough not to turn into mere background noise and genuinely quite creepy and ominous, even if sometimes I can't help but feel like I've heard this drone before. Paranoid bong times for the pure drone faithful.
