Already gets a point for the label name but even without that this is a wonderfully intoxicating brew of honest to goodness electronica that recalls all the best bits of all your favourite twiddling heroes. It has a lovely warm organic sound with stuttery synths and warm electronics.
Lead track 'Modern Driveway' is a classic sounding evocative IDM with nods towards Aphex Twin, Plaid, Kettel and anyone who has produced a gleaming melodic strand of electronic greatness. It's strong throughout. I'm particularly enamoured by the stuttery 'Carrage' and soothing glacial closer 'Meeting Hill' nodding at Eno and Boards of Canada.
