· Sweet Lights is the solo project of Shai Halperin
from The Capitol Years, and also from the original
line-up of War On Drugs with Kurt Vile.
· The album blends classic pop songwriting with
retro production and beautiful multi-layered
harmonies. Think George Harrison, Beach Boys,
Chris Bell.
· The album has received support from Bob Harris,
Lauren Laverne and Gideon Coe, as well as Uncut
and Mojo magazine. The debut video premiered on
the NME.
· Sweet Lights will be touring the UK and Europe
with Gravenhurst throughout May and June. He
has toured with Pixies, Daniel Johnston and The
Walkmen in the past.
· Vinyl is packaged in a beautiful gatefold sleeve,
printed onto heavy reverse board, and includes
digital download codes featuring the album plus
three bonus tracks exclusive to this format.
