Having trouble with this one from the off. Peace are new buzz band of which the nucleus is two brothers attempting to re-invent British guitar music - sound familiar? Luckily these lads aren't from Manchester but my birthplace of the West Midlands. You'd be forgiven for thinking they were from Manchester though as the A-side 'Follow Baby' is baggy as fook mate. It's like someone thawed out that crappy Britpop documentary they showed on the BBC way back and let it run wild in 2012 a la Demolition Man. I've been alive on this planet more than two seconds so I remember things and that's why I can't remove what's going on here from the work of Liverpool's '90s scene creamers Mansun.
Flip it and you've got a Bono/Robert Plant hybrid fronting what sounds like a Britpop supergroup. These guys played after us at a recent gig in Leeds - really glad I didn't stick around and listen to them. Horrible. Nice picture disc though.

I heard these the other day and almost threw up in horror. Comparing them to Mansun is cruel (to Mansun) though and anyway, Mansun were from Chester.....
So, what do you think?
