Word on the street is that this is one of the blokes from Junior Boys. A Junior boy if you will. Here he has his sights squarely aimed at the dancefloor with a no nonsense epic house/ techno/ trance hybrid that just keeps going with crowd friendly twists and turns. It's a pleasant tune actually and I can imagine it gracing floors from Ibiza to the indie disco. Lots of synthesizer action going off around warm melodies and eventually some soulful keys. The flipside is a bit of a surprise though' Gun' begins like Pan Sonic lite with heavy machine throbs which become filtered then some crispy hi-hats and snares and rim shots all build up, a bassline kicks in and we're almost off, things stutter about for a tad and then the bassline comes back and everything comes together with a sort of awkward/ off-kilter sense of funk. Quite like this one actually.
