So here it is, the final album from the sadly departed electronic music pioneer and visionary Conrad Schnitzler. Recorded in July of 2011, it is the final document of one man's journey through electronic sound. Conrad never played by the rules and always followed his own unique path. After having achieved so much as an artist it's good to hear him bid farewell in remarkable style. Listening to these other worldly electronics they really could not have come from the mind and hand of anyone else. The single 62 minute piece is broken down into 36 tracks for ease of navigation but really does require digesting as a whole. Aas always this is some of the most forward thinking, striking, innovative and futuristic electronic music you are ever likely to hear. So much new music claims to be nu-kosmische or whatever but how much of that is TRULY COSMIC. Classy stuff from a true master.
