Mirel Wagner, the latest signing to 22-Pistepirkko label Bone Voyage Recordings, is a 23 year old singer/songwriter, born in Ethiopia and raised in Espoo, Finland. Her music has a unique intensity and emotional weight. This self titled debut was released in Finland earlier in the year & received high praise from Finnish media. Her music has been compared to Mazzy Star, Leonard Cohen, Bobby Gentry, Nick Cave etc...
