I wish Howler would give up. This 5 piece hail from Minneapolis and have been touted for great things in the future (like massive popularity for a short while, inevitable decline and jobs in many a B&Q and/or fast food chain). These upstarts have a sort of garage rock sound...but it's a garage rock sound that fashion twats like The Strokes and The Vaccines have been doing. You know, this sort of uninspiring tight-trousered, pork pie hat-wearing street urchin style music that many a NME fan can cream themselves over. It's all straight up chord progressions and singalong choruses. I'm not a fan of this sort of uninspired guff (as you can probably tell...I'd rather listen to Motorhead or Murray Head than these gits), and they look like somebody has found them in a sixth form and kicked them through H&M. The worst thing about this is that people like this make rock sound shitty yet people seem to proper love it. It's awful when rock music is done this badly...no wonder people like dubstep.
