I went to see The Bunny & The Bull a couple of months ago and I was really impressed by the soundtrack. I was totally surprised when I found out it was the The Ralfe Band... One of many bands whose records arrive here who we never have time to play.... I always thought they were a bit pants (prob cos of the name) but I am totally wrong. The Bunny and The Bull soundtrack is awesome!! (that was my Business Lady-ism...) The music is created largely by piano, guitars, mandolin, accordion, strings and brass. You get downbeat pianoy almost neo classical tracks like 'Stephen' or Atlantis Rising', you get upbeat weird carnival circus type tunes like 'Museum', there's allsorts on here! It has a very European flavour but as it's a road movie about 2 nuggets going around Europe you'd expect that. Deffo some nods to Yann Tiersen and Carter Burwell at moments. This is a delightful album drenched in Western and European folk but the more mardy piano moments are the things doing it for me. By the way the film is worth seeing as well if you've not... Not as as funny as you'd expect coming from the Boosh stable but it's poignant and visually amazing! Excellent stuff!!
