Headhunter - Clone / Projector

This is the one they've all been waiting for! Black Box hits release number 20 in fine style, with the first solo 12" of proper Headhunter material in some time. As his 808-riddled Addison Groove project gathers pace, it's easy to forget that Tony Williams has also produced some of the most visceral 140bpm halfstep, so now he returns to stamp his authority on the scene where he first made his name.

In just 2 years, Black Box has come to be regarded as one of the most reliable and trusted labels in the dubstep scene, with a steady output of quality music that simultaneously reiterates the purity of the sound and pushes its boundaries.

'Clone', features mechanized rhythms, rushing white noise and relentless bass drops, whilst 'Projector' scatters fidgeting arpeggios across a purely synthetic soundscape. Both tunes have received exclusive weekly plays on Youngsta's show on Rinse FM throughout 2011, with recent support from Kryptic Minds and Icicle.
