OK, this is a repress of 'Mad Mind' by Sauna Youth on the mighty Suplex Tapes. My Sauna Youth knowledge is weak but what I've heard of the band I've really enjoyed. They have a hard-hitting indie rock sound that borrows a little from hardcore punk and garage rock to great effect giving them an urgency and edge over similar groups doing the rounds of late. 'Mad Mind' features three party jams on the A-side (of which 'My Gold's Bangla' wins out as the favourite) and a dronathon of a B-side entitled 'List Of Power Stations' that features a long-winded spoken word piece that is impossible to decipher with all the noise in the office. The drones are sweet though. A total ambient din. Overall this is a short but totally sweet offering from Sauna Youth. Not surprised this sold out so quickly first time around. Look out for Trencher and Weird Dreams tapes from the same label elsewhere on the site. Both are amazing!
