Well, the first thing to mention about this is the packaging. As ever with Time Released Sound it's a total thing of beauty. The time it must take to put these things together scares me! Each CD comes with a filmic referenced, torn out and hand worked/collaged double sided notebook page which have a pair of mismatched clock hands suspended from it by thread. Also included are a pair of beautifully printed and double sided inserts which are housed in a translucent 6″ square envelope…which in turn is fronted with its own specially produced Time Released Sound clock stencil, and all held in place with a hand stamped black band! It looks amazing and each one is unique and worthy of getting just for the artwork alone. Amazing lookin' things! Musically it's not too shaky either. I guess it would fall into the folktronica genre. Nice folky strummy musings with a bit of drone and some tinkly electronics. I can't really think of anyone it sounds like so as well as the packaging being unique the music is too. It's very personal music which makes you feel like the music has been made especially for you. There's an Appalachian vibe going on in some of the tracks which I'm liking too. A thoroughly special release which is expensive but a total treat!

This folktronic ambient duo from the Northeastern United States have created an unusually lovely hybrid of very “american” sounding, guitar centric, multi instrumentally looped ambient folkdrone.

This release will be available in only one limited edition version of 100 copies. In our usual over-the-top fashion, each of these beauties will come with a filmic referenced , torn out and hand worked/collaged double sided notebook page. Each of these pages has a pair of mismatched clock hands suspended from it by thread. You may have noticed by now that we at TRS prefer our clocks to be handless…so we are at last providing you with some hands of your own, just in case you care to keep track of the time more than we! Also included are a pair of beautifully printed and uniquely artified double sided inserts, which along with the lovingly designed and thermal printed disc come in the now ubiquitous translucent 6″ square envelope…which in turn is fronted with it’s own specially produced Time Released Sound clock stencil, and all held snugly in place with a hand stamped black band!
