Martyn Ware & Ian Craig Marsh formed the Human league with Phil Oakey and Adrian Wright in 1977. In 1980 Ware and Marsh left
the Human League and went on to form British Electric Foundation (B.E.F.) as a production team rather than a band. Ware and Marsh
then formed Heaven 17 with lead singer Glenn Gregory.

Contains: 1982 album Music of Quality and Distinction Volume One which is packed full of covers of classic songs by an array of
notable artists. Includes: Tina Turner’s cover of The Temptations ‘Ball of Confusion’ which was also released on 7” Vinyl in 1982, also
includes covers by Paula Yates, Billy Mackenzie, Paul Jones, Gary Glitter, Glenn Gregory and Sandie Shaw.

CD1 also features seven previously unreleased bonus tracks. Six backing tracks: Ball of Confusion, Secret Life of Arabia, There’s a
Ghost In My House, These Boots Were Made for Walking, You Keep Me Hanging On, & an Orchestral Mix of It’s Over.
