Grrrrrrrrr - can't find the name of band, title, label or anything on this pale washed out sleeve. What I do know is only what Phil has told me that its on a label run by someone from Emeralds and that it specialises in your retro 70's synth kosmische stuff which is pretty much what you get here. Its all bubbly, burbling synths playing random patterns. If you like this type of old school synthesizer tomfoolery which to my concern many in the office do, then by all means give it a go. The press release is basically a load of words to use as 'tags' to describe it. One of which is 'boring'. Others are Electronic, Electronica, Experimental, Floating, Harpsichord,"Library Electronics", Modular, Mysterious, Piano, Psychedelic, Puzzling, Satie, "Spectrum 008", "Spectrum Spools", Sterilized,
Synthesizers, Ugly, Wendy Carlos, Wobbly, WTF, Zig-Zag. Does that help? This is an LP re-issue of the original cassette version on Root Strata.
All tracks by Daren Ho
Originally released on cassette in an edition of 100 by Root Strata as Root 91
Mastered and cut at D+M, Berlin, August 2011.
