This single is very interesting. It's a youth project put to vinyl. It's a collaboration with the Ambrioze Croizat Institute For Mentally Handicapped Children. It sounds great. I reckon it's pure expression and enthusiasm that makes this a really worthy single. I'm all up for music therapy, and this record is not just good... its for a good cause. If this was England we would have shut the school down “to cut corners”. This single is both interesting and cathartic. It's got the best sleeve too. A noble, positive effort.
Br-d 6 a 7" 45 by Atelier Mediterranee, is the result of a workshop led by David Lemoine (cheveu) and Antoine Capet with kids from the Institut Médico Educatif Ambroise Croizat in Saint Ouen. It could be said that those kids are mentally retarded, I don't know. They all make music together, David arranged it in a throbbing vibe of disturbing humanity. Call it outsider electro-noise or something. This is part of a set of projects where david made workshops with homeless people, convicts in jail, street musicians.
