What You Do With What You Have is another step up for the young producer, following the Bohla EP and his huge Getting Me Down
white label. It takes a fundamental message from some KDJ spoken word and twists it through submerged acid lines, trademark
driving percussion and classic techno stabs.
The way he works the vocal is simply amazing, and validates the fact that “It ain’t what you got, it is what you do with what you
have.”
Vibe Decorium on the flip is another twisted piece of acid house put through the Blawan blender, marking him out as one of the best
producers around right now. As Mary Anne Hobbs says ‘He really is my favourite producer of the moment’. She has played What
