'Safe For All  Seasons / The Great Deal Of Love' is the first fruits of new recording with Mike Demming (known in a cult way over these parts for his work on The Pernice Brothers Overcome By Happiness), it precedes the album The Great Deal Of Love in November.
Ken Griffin created 3 elaborate albums between 1992 and 1997, (Shoulder Voices and Horsedrawn Wishes with Rollerskate Skinny and Dead City Sunbeams with Kid Silver) , the other four men who would become Favourite Sons spent their years cutting their chops with the Philly-based psych-pop group Aspera (Jagjaguwar Records) before relocating to New York in 2004 after parting ways with their singer.
