Various - Life Is Dance (CD)

Here's Finders Keepers' sequel to the awesome Sound of Wonder album that they did a few years ago. That was one of my favourite albums of whatever year it was released. It's full of some of the most insanely inventive and unusual music I've heard before. Life is Dance continues the quest for Lollywood insanity as Finders Keepers were given permission to raid EMI's archives to compile this beauty. As ever the styles of music shift from verse to chorus and often midway during a verse the music will just randomly change direction. That's what I love about some of the more inventive bolly/lollywood music...it's not really like anything else. But if you like to hear, surf, experimental electronic business, exotica, Western pop, Eastern pop all thrown together in a way you've never heard before then you should check this out. It's truly remarkable music with its tongue firmly wedged in its cheek and it's winking right at you.
