Heldon - Allez Teia

Allez Teia by Heldon

Reissue : Allez Teia, originally released in 1975, was Heldon's second album. It is considered an early, trance-inducing, electronic and acoustic masterpiece. It is the only album in the Heldon cannon to feature acoustic guitar. It features the trademark 70s Heldon/Pinhas instrumental sound: waves of fuzz-tone, post Frippian guitars, ARP and VCS3 synthesizers, tape loops and mellotron, all building towards a monstrously delirious denouement. A classic of the progressive rock scene of the 70s – searing, instrumental spacemusic, bridging electronics and psychedelic guitar in a legendary fashion.

Starting his career in the early 70s with his now celebrated group Heldon and continuing to work and release music 'til now, Richard Pinhas, the leader of Heldon, is one of France’s major experimental musicians;. he is a key figure in the international development of electronic rock music. Heldon were possibly the first group to fuse electronics and rock. They created a pioneering, aggressive music that was a precursor to the industrial music and techno to come.

"...France's most influential contemporary musician." – Alternative Press

Originally first released on CD in 1992 and out of print for several years, this is reissued  here in newly upgraded packaging that closely approximates the original, collectable album release.
