Human Hair are back to remind you how UK punk can be done differently, better...Sitting somewhere between The Saints-Gun Club....and the best of first wave '77 punk..plus their own spooky, unique brand of heavy skronk. Basically its hard to describe, so lets just resort to simple adjectives like awesome and mind-blowing, and say that this sophomore effort is sure to be heading onto the inevitable 'best of 2011' lists. HH are possibly the most underrated act to emerge from in recent revival in the UK's indie-punk-rock scene with the likes of Male Bonding, Fair Ohs, Mazes gaining much deserved attention its time for HH to get some hard earned accolades. They're also one of the finest live bands you are ever likely to catch on the London circuit. Sex Is Disgusting has previously released records by Mazes, Fair Ohs, Spectrals, Prize Pets and Rent Boys and have been featured in Neu, Vice, Loud & Quiet and Platform to name but a few. SID are just a couple of nerds who love music. 'Chapter & Verse' runs amok with primitive synth beamed live from the witch trials; a man preaches above and subtle hints of The Bad Seeds and Christian Death can be heard below. A weirdo stomper for the ages.  'Oh Man Omens' is a paean to thirst; worship the amber nectar and she shall treat you well. Riffs are spun like thread, Thinking Men's Fellers Union 282 on a bender. 'Sun Gods' is the bastard son on this EP, where the hell did those freckles come from? He doesn't look like any of the elders. Sounds like Guided By Voices covering Black Sabbath. If it was a drink it'd be a 50% proof alcopop. 'Bath Time' closes us off, a blues-inflected rager than brings to mind everyone from Slug Guts to Grinderman. 7 years bad luck for the unfortunate son.
