To start off the summer, Acid Jazz have signed a corking new band - The Broken Vinyl Club. There's not many people who'd turn down a ride in a musical time machine. Imagine being able to travel back into the past and watch all your favourite bands. The Broken Vinyl Club have invented that time machine and driven it straight back to the sixties. They've brought back The Beatles' harmonies, The Stones' swagger, The Pretty Things' attitude and The Monkees' personality. They've even had time to raid a couple of Carnaby Street clothes shops and nick Keith Moon's drum kit. Currently plotting their debut LP from their Valleys HQ, The Broken Vinyl Club are working on putting these sixties influences together to form an exciting, and totally modern new whole. So, to get your groove on properly, Acid Jazz present One Way Street, the band's first single for the label on, what else, but glorious 7" vinyl.
