Battles - My Machines

Fresh from their triumphant Glastonbury
appearance, New York trio Battles release their
new single ‘My Machines’, featuring the vocal
talents of iconic electronic artist Gary Numan.

‘My Machines’ is a mighty collision of “stern, piston
drums, guitar notes scattering like frightened
crickets” (NME) and also “an album highlight”
(Uncut).

The single, which is released on limited edition
silver 12” (only 350 for the UK and Eire), also
features brand new Battles track ‘A.M. Gestalt’.

As guest vocalist Gary Numan explains: ''Working
with Battles was an easy choice for me. They have
a unique approach to making music and a clear
idea of what they want. They are inventive,
adventurous, unpredictable and I'm proud to be
involved”.
