Ruling The Roost/ Gold Choice by Far Corners

Far Corners is a new outfit from the lads that bought you the uncompromising, no bullshit garage rock of the Turpentine Brothers. There's not much info to go on but basically Far Corners are Turpentine Brothers but for some reason they now run things under this new moniker. 'Ruling The Roost' does not disappoint on the scuzzy-as-fuck, mad-as-a-box-of-frogs garage rock vibe. It's a dirgy slice of noise rock fun that's barely audible through the din of busted effects and tape fuzz. Love the echoplex vocal-ism on this one. Flip it and you get more of same though 'Gold Choice' has a more distinct, driving punk rock momentum than the A side. Reminds me of Lovvers before they couldn't afford to record in a real studio. Give it up for Boston yo! Outstanding fucked up lo-fi fun.

Edition of 165, with 135ish on Lilac colored vinyl, and 30ish on Beige colored vinyl. Record centers are hand stamped and stenciled. Jackets are hand numbered and assembled. The Far Corners contain members of the Turpentine Brothers, actually they are essentially the Turpentine Brothers under a new name.
