Brutality Will Prevail - Sleep Paralysis

Only 9 months after the crushing modern classic ‘Root Of All Evil’, Brutality Will Prevail have returned with the 3-song, 20 minute mini-album ‘Sleep Paralysis’. Forged upon a quite self-explanatory concept, this is a release that shows the band cement their position with two devastating no-nonsense tracks, whilst simultaneously expanding their sound ever further with a lumbering, intricate instrumental.

This is brazen, detuned hardcore laced with doom, post-rock, classic metal, country, and many other tiny nods to other genres, all wrapped up in a sound that is entirely theirs.

Brutality Will Prevail are teetering on the edge of big things. Their kaleidoscopic sludge/hardcore has somehow continually pushed creative boundaries, whilst selling out The Underworld in London and venue across the country. Their merchandise is like gold dust and they can never keep it in stock. All this without management, without a booking agent, without press support. It really is time that the ‘powers that be’ wake the fuck up and realize the ridiculous potential of one of the best heavy bands of our time.
