John Stammers - Remixes

First single release from John Stammers’ debut album.

‘The Fridge’ (Band Version) was only previously available on the vinyl release of John’s album, and is now released digitally for the first time.

Included are two brand new remixes. Colorama transform Stammers’ signature song ‘Idle I’m’ into a massive Balearic groove, which can only be described as a cross between Tim Hardin lazing on the beach with Air. Colorama is Carwyn Ellis, with two albums and a career as a seasoned session musician for the likes of Paul Weller, Edwyn Collins. Colorama has seen much success performing round Europe, including a recent performance on Channel 4’s TopMan CTRL.

The Kramford Look are Wonderfulsound’s new signing and will have an album coming out later this year. Their influences scream European Library music circa 1970. Championed by Jonny Trunk, Shawn Lee and The Superimposers: “The Kramford Look are making music that we search high and low for to sample.  They are the real deal!”
