Dead Wood - Polystar/Blotch Yea

Here's Dead Wood with a super-limited lathe cut 7". This, Phil tells me, is the first black lathe cut record he's ever seen. It's limited to 50, too, so these will basically sell themselves whatever I say. We've got a droney noise on one side of the record and another droney noise on the other side of the record. The one on the first side I played was quite metallic and slightly lower pitched than the noise on the other side of the record. It went on for a pretty long time, too. Meanwhile on the other side, there's a higher pitched and slightly wibblier metallic drone. There's no real progression or change, the noise just continues flatly throughout. This is the kind of music that I don't really understand so I'm gonna say it's "hard work" and "not for everyone", but if you're into listening to the same noise for five minutes, perhaps one of these two noises will appeal to you.
