K-Conjog - Le Storie Che Invento Non le so Raccontare

Got a few lathe cuts in this week from Dirty Demos, the majority of which are in super limited numbers like 20. They've pressed a few more of this K-Conjog 7" (80!!) so we thought we should give it a whirl and tell you what we think. Well, K-Conjog knocks out ultra lo-fi tunes, primarily melancholic guitar instrumentals backed with field recordings and various textural bonuses. The A-side is particularly minimal with a single guitar drifting amongst what sounds like a bunch of school kids running about having a good time. Flip and you get a similar deal but this time the guitar is accompanied by a solid beat and piano textures augmented with mutated tape audio of someone saying something or other, who knows what. Could be a unreleased 555 recording. Lo-fi and minimal yet inventive.
