Captain Beefheart & His Magic Band - Nan Trues Hole Tapes Volume 2

This is the follow up to the vinyl only album “Nan Trues Hole Tapes Volume 1”. These tracks were recorded live in England in Spring 1972 and  taken from John Peel’s former archive of Beefheart live tapes. This is the classic period of The Magic Band, Rockette Morton, Zoot Horn Rollo, Orejon, Ed Marimba, Winged Eel Fingerling. Quote from Peel “ The Captain once told me he was at that stage , still seven people away from being himself”. Musicians on this live album are : Captain Beefheart – Don Van Vliet, vocals, harp.
