One of my favourite things about hardcore metal (apart from me making them mad by saying that it's a clique and me wearing something other than a tight pair of black jeans and an obscure Metal t-shirt and getting a beat down because of it...) is the fact that a lot of the songs are so quick that you can cram about a million of them on to a 7"...well mebbe not a million of 'em but quite a few. This is no exception. 4 tracks of blistering hardcore courtesy of Baptists. They have tons of fast riffs, they have thunderous drums and bowels of hell vocals. Some of these songs can strip paint from 100 yards. Mucho thrashing can be heard on this puppy. From the guttural opener "Good Parenting" to the doom laden "Bachelor Degree Burn". These Vancouver types can kick shit out of a thrash metal tune and probably kick shit out of YOUR PUNY WHITE ASSHOLE. This is music to have a good drunken mosh to...wonderful stuff.
