With Buhloone Mindstate, De La Soul continued their artistic maturation. However, despite being critically acclaimed, it was their biggest commercial failure to date. Time has been kind to the album, though, and it's often listed as one of the greatest hip-hop albums of all-time. The 3rd and final De La Soul album to be produced by the legendary Prince Paul, Buhloone Mindstate features many guests including Guru from Gangstarr, Biz Markie, and Maceo Parker. An all-time hip-hop classic.
