Maurice Donovan - Babeh/Satisfied

This is a Ramadanman alias, yeah, the heady floor-slayer extraordinaire! His recent quest to merge such sole-fraying styles as Footwerk/Juke, house and dubstep has resulted in some phenomenal grooves of late. This is his Chicago house nom-de-plume but his hallmark rhythmic stylings are all over it. Both tracks have a pure, joyous feel to them that brings an old treasured sound back to the fore but injects some fresh technological nous into proceedings without compromising the loose-limbed ecstatic soul you'd expect from this revered, pioneering sound. Check the clips on Youtube or other sites, i'm especially enamoured of 'Satisfied' but both sides rule.....
