It's a shame that Touch with their back catalogue of superb artwork have chosen to release vinyl in such cost cutting 'white label' sleeves. Oh well, there's a recession on don't you know! In another review today I proposed that the bloke who cut the record will be getting a credit on the press release soon so ridiculous are tenous credits getting and ....already we have one. So well done to Jason at Transition for an excellent cut! The record was summed up by Phil with the words 'experimental bobbins', I can't do much better than that save to say that it is ambient late night scraping noises, very evocative and nocturnal. Dark ambient soundscapes using the wind, waves and more traditional instrument such as guitar. Play it just before bedtime to terrify you through the night. One track on each side.
Touch is proud to announce a new series, 'White Label' vinyl only limited edition releases. The first in this series is by BJNilsen, with more to follow during the year by the usual roster of Touch artists.
