This guy has been quietly amassing a high quality body of work on labels like Kning Disc, Low-Point, Housing, Sedimental, Standard Form etc. This is another record focusing on memory which is something that interests me greatly. I just love how a sound can take you right back to a moment in time. Often it can be a time you'd prefer not to revisit but this is quite gentle and lucid in its execution. The sounds are spacious and melancholy and really feel very introspective and deeply personal. It certainly feels like more of an internal journey/exercise for the artist rather than something created to entertain or create a vibe/atmosphere, which of course it does wonderfully, as it feel like a window into Kyle's very heart and soul. Thankfully he's chosen to share these experiences and sounds and interpreting his feeling and emotions is not difficult to decode. A very warm and inviting LP from an artist that really does deserve a little more recognition within his field. Super lovely ambient stuff to say the least.
