Paisley and Charlie - Stone Lions

Debut single from Brighton duo Paisley and Charlie who are Paisley Pattenden and Charlie Darling. Paisley and Charlie have built up a strong fanbase from their live performances and glowing blog reviews which include an online single for Drums man Jacob Grapes label Holiday Records. Stone Lions their debut single is therefore long overdue and been eagerly awaited by fans and press alike. Recorded in Brighton, London and Liverpool (with the help of one half of Half Man Half Biscuit/ This Final Frame)they have created beautiful pop songs mixing indie pop with lush strings and orchestration. Some will point to Saint Etienne and Dubstar but we hear influences from Bolan to the Lilac Time which Paisley and Charlies mix with their own unique style to create the perfect soundtrack to the summer. As well as gigging all over the UK Paisley and Charlie will be playing with fellow bandmates Tracey's Love and Socialist Leisure Party at the single launch gig at the Betsey Trotwood in London on Friday May 6th. Debut album to follow in July.
