them stretching their songs into new and unexpected
shapes, drawing on the eccentricities of Sparks, the piano
methods of Steve Reich and the unhinged prog-pop of
Cardiacs, whilst always retaining at its heart a genuine pop
pulse.
· This is highbrow pop, unashamed of its pretension and
ambition whilst staying fit to bust with hooks.
· Having just completed their first ever headline UK tour in
February, including sell out shows in Brighton, Bristol,
Sunderland and Leeds, Dutch Uncles are set to head out
across the Summer, including numerous festivals and their
biggest London headline show to date.
