Ooh new Kitty Daisy & Lewis! I like these guys. Enough said. Actually I probably need to elaborate a bit more! Actually after a quick check on the site I've reviewed every Kitty daisy & Lewis thing we've ever reviewed. That either makes me a fan boy or no one else in the office likes 'em. Actually I reckon some folks have a begrudging liking or 'em as their records are unashamed fun. I'm So Sorry still has that 50's vibe but this one is drenched in ska and trumpets. It's well summery and to be honest this is the last thing I'm doing today before I go home and chill and this is gonna be the soundtrack to my journey home. It's gonna be a good evening! Party carnival music and completely non-oppressive like most of the other gash I force feed my ears. Lovely.
• The first single from Kitty, Daisy & Lewis’ forthcoming new album ‘Smoking In Heaven’ is a double A side of ‘I’m So Sorry’ / ‘I’m Going Back’.
• The ska-tinged ‘I’m So Sorry’ is an exciting hint at one of the many new musical stylings of the band, a feel good Summer hit already achieving fantastic radio support.
• ‘I’m Going Back’ is a fast and energetic track, reminding us of the band’s roots in Rock ‘n’ Roll, Country and R&B.
• The vinyl formats will continue the series of previous singles that have fast became collector’s items, including the limited edition highly collectable 78RPM 10” in retro paper sleeve (500 copies).
