Oh man, sleepovers. Best one I ever had involved staying up all night trying to complete Resident Evil on the Playstation, motherfucking Barry Burton and all. Dogs through the windows, like - pure brown PJs EVERY BASTARD TIME! Shit was SO cash. Sleep Over (with a little 'infinity' sign in the middle which would completely break our website) are new to me but seem pretty DJ Kool Herc themselves with their retro-ethereal wispiness and light nods to modern day bass music.. Maybe a little Telepathe-ish in concept but lighter and more vague than that in practice. Laurel Halo remixes on the other side, taking it all garage like. It's making me move my head around like a tit so it's gotta be doing something right.
“Not had enough of those sleepy, creepy wraithpop trios? [ SLEEP ∞ OVER ] could be the soundtrack to Carrie's breakdown” Guardian. Features Laurel Halo remix. The beauty of SLEEP ∞ OVER emanates from deep memory and may well be qualified as a staircase for daydreamers and or a destination for light seekers. Reflective and arboreal, spirits fond of fountains and rainbow electronics will be beckoned by the transfixing voice of this benevolent siren. ‘Casual Diamond’ floats you in an ethereal super natural make-out jam. Laurel Halo joins SLEEP ∞ OVER in the rebirth phase fusing these lush sounds into a Garage 3-Step reinterpretation of title track ‘Casual Diamond’. The wind eerily blows in your direction, be on the lookout for SLEEP ∞ OVER LP, coming this summer via Hippos In Tanks!
