french dream-drone pop label la station radar excel themselves with this split release of ritualistic echo music. jen paul's ghostly sketches are all underwater pianos, looped whispers and dreamscapes in faded out colours. if you were to stumble on an abandoned family home these are the recordings of the lost souls on the answerphone. jeans wilder's career has taken him to the shores of best coast, the shimmering peaking lights and the usa synth wave movement. distilling a bliss of mumbles and sweet smelling memories onto wax, wilder's work recalls early flying saucer attack and the disintegrating effects of the early 90s but taps into an eternal sound loop, a sound which threatens to swallow you hole. amazing stuff.
