I love these things! This is a collection of old 78's which is a sequel of sorts to the ace String of Pearls comp they put out a while back. This one features tracks from India, Iran, Anatolia, Portugal, Switzerland, Greece, Macedonia, Spain, America and a bunch of other places. It's amazing! The 2nd track by Juan Parras Del Morral is a beautiful piece of Spanish guitar music recorded in the early 20s and it's lovely. The style's obviously vary from country to country but it's essentially a vital album for any world folk archivists. Some of the songs have vocals and others are instrumental. Not sure what else to say about it really aside from it's full of magical moments and if you're a fan of String Of Pearls and want more then this has your name written all over it. Well it hasn't but if you ask nicely we'll write you name on it in thick black permanent marker.

Compilation of deep 78's from all over the world - India, Iran, Anatolia, Portugal, Switzerland, Greece, Macedonia, Spain, America & more.  Compiled by Ian Nagoski as sort of a sequel to the "String of Pearls" compilation we put out a couple years back.  Beautiful austere performances by master instrumentalists & vocalists. Comes with four pages of liner notes.  Tip on old school cover.
