God I feel like I've heard this record before! I probably haven't though? This track 'Tanz In Dem Himmel' more than successfully blends slo-bubbling cold wave electro, tragic Euro-melancholia, proto-trance shades & ghostly wisps of stellar kosmische synth music into an all-too-brief classic that will have you weeping uncontrollably into the sleeve of your Gucci suit. The synthesizer melodies on here are to completely DIE for! I wish it was a six minute beast instead of the 2.46 sad-eyed pup it is. Someone do an extended mix NOW, I demand it. The flips aren't as club friendly but completely serve their purpose. 'Slow Motion' is brooding cosmic balladeering of the highest order that recalls Popol Vuh or later Tangerine Dream whilst the closing track 'Auf Immer' is comprised of astrally-inclined whooshing ambience of a supreme nature - organic chimes entwining with lonely synths & more blissful heavenly ephemera! An archival treasure for sure!!

Superb cosmic and minimal synth / coldwave German underground masterpiece recorded in the early 1980s and released exclusively by Soul Jazz on superloud high quality 12” vinyl by popular demand.

This 12” is extremely limited (500 copies only) and contains three exclusive tracks of cosmic Heaven by the cult German electronic group E.M.A.K. - none of which appear on Soul Jazz Records’ recent E.M.A.K. album.

E.M.A.K. were a main feature on Deutsche Elektronische Muzik, Soul Jazz Records’ recent journey through German experimental rock and electronic music. Featuring alongside Can, Neu, Tangerine Dream, Cluster and Popul Vuh, E.M.A.K. led the evolution of what was called Krautrock in the 1970s into a more updated synthwave, digital sound in the 1980s.

‘Tanz In Der Himmel’ is one of the rarest and most loved cosmic synth / coldwave outings from this cult group.
