For Oakland, California, Neurosis, their entire catalogue can be considered brilliant not only for its sonic merit but also for its need to wander from the beaten path. Rare is it that a band can make you feel the cold and hard texture of concrete while allowing you to smell the growing vine in the confines of one song. Perhaps this is the reason why so many have looked to and borrowed from their table. Long out of print, the band are now re-issuing Souls at Zero with three additional demo tracks, updated art and an o-card sleeve as part of the series.
Classic 1992 album, Souls At Zero, reissued as part of 25th anniversary series. Neurosis will be curating and performing at the legendary Roadburn Festival in April. Three additional demo tracks, Souls At Zero and Cleanse III appear on this version. As will all the reissues, this comes in an o-card package with updated artwork by Josh Graham. There will be more amazing Neurosis reissues throughout 2011.
